The daily rates listed on this page are the compilation of responses from contract pilots and the companies they work for. Sources are emails (some open forum) and form data submission from this website.
These rates are for simulator trained and current Captain "qualified" contract pilots regardless of seat position or flight deck responsibilities. (A pilot acting as "SIC" rapidly becomes "PIC" in the event of incapacitation/illness of the other crew member!)
This page is presented as an "information only" tool for contract pilots. This is NOT an attempt at "price fixing". Absurdly low rate responses from pilots NOT paying for their own training, not working as full time contract pilots, or pilots who have purchased a type rating and are trying to "buy experience" by undercutting their full time professional contract pilot colleagues have been excluded. (ie $150/day CE-550, $500/day G-V)
It is the responsibility of
the contract pilot to negotiate his/her daily rate with the customer in advance
of work performed. Simple contracts between contract pilot and
customer with the details and agreed upon terms are highly recommended.
